No, all guests must be able to stand on their own in the baskets and be able to take commands from the balloon pilot in case of emergency. 

Sunrise Balloons has flights once per a day for the sunrise, seven days a week. As weather permits for us to do so. 

Our cancellation policy: 

48 hours for parties of two and 72 hours for 3 or more prior to your balloon flight. If you are a no show or do not cancel before 72/48 hours of your scheduled flight, your package will be redeemed and consider your ticket used. 

ALL OF OUR TOURS ARE NON REFUNDABLE REGARDLESS OF THE CANCELLATION TIME ! 

If you have a third party voucher such as a Groupon and you are a NO SHOW to your scheduled flight we will redeem your Groupon and you may considered your ticket as used.  

Cancellation prior to the 48/72 hour notice with any ticket that was purchased with us i.e. gift certificates, Groupon price match , promotional pricing, over the phone tour sales, balloon tours purchased online, and any of our tickets that do not clearly state it is a REFUNDABLE ticket, does NOT mean you get a refund; it does mean that your balloon ride ticket will remain valid for a reschedule.

No, all promotional priced tickets and regular priced tickets that do not have tour protection on them will be non refundable.

In the event that the balloon flight is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances or weather. 

A guest is able to reschedule their flight for another available date. 

Our air balloon baskets do not have doors, and require all guests to be able to step up, onto side of basket, and then over into basket. 

If a guest needs a stool for assistance, PLEASE mention prior to the date of your balloon tour. 

Passengers stand during flights. Passengers must also be physically capable of climbing in and out of the balloon basket.

We are unable to accept pregnant balloon ride guests. Due to safety reasons, but would love for you to join us after having a safe and healthy pregnancy.

In addition to having a commercial pilot’s license certified by the FAA, our pilots have a minimum of 1,200 hours flight operations. They are also selected because of their fun personalities and casual professionalism.

Rain, unsafe wind conditions (i.e. Wind warnings, Santa Ana wind conditions etc), fog, low ceiling, extreme heat.

Any guests over 220lbs per person must reserve an additional space for safety and comfort; Any guests 280lbs or more are required to book a private flight. 

The additional space required is offered at a discounted rate, offering comfort and safety for all patrons aloft. Weight limits of hot air balloons are regulated by the manufacturer and F.A.A., known as the “payload”. This is to ensure that damage to the aircraft is avoided by overheating the fabric that holds you aloft and the floor specs of the balloon basket.
